Roy Glenn McClure, age 78, beloved husband of 47 years to Fumiko Shimoji McClure, died on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at his residence.

Born in Washington, Indiana, he was a son of the late Denny Ray McClure and Emma Ruth Horney McClure. Mr. McClure served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a master sergeant after 26 years of service. Following his retirement from active duty, he went on to work in Civil Service at Fort Jackson Army Base and retired after 25 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports and collecting spearheads. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Brenda Morales of Tucson, Arizona, and James Nolan McClure of San Francisco; one brother, Jim McClure of Idaho; one grandson, Mark Jenkins of Tucson; and two great-grandchildren, Madisyn Jenkins and Logan Jenkins.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery with full military honors.
