She was born in Pensacola, Florida. She retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1988 with 25 years of civil service. She loved to travel and see different places and enjoyed spending time with family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Teresa A. Doggett and her husband, Carl, of Greensboro, North Carolina, Yvonne Love of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Yvette Wilkinson and her husband, Allen, of Sumter; one twin sister, Mary Josie Lusk of Yucaipa, Georgia; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.
The family will receive friends today one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at Bullock Funeral Home.
