Self-Dolan

CHARLESTON - Anna McLaurin Self and Ryan Matthew Dolan, both of Charleston, were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at The Garden at Ashley Point.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Thomas Self Jr. and the granddaughter of Mrs. Helen McLaurin Self and the late Mr. George Thomas Self of Sumter and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lester Batey of Charleston. She graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a minor in Art History. She is employed as a freelance floral designer.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew M. Dolan of Nashville, Tennessee, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Dolan and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Atwood, all of Nashville, and the late Mr. Rufus Phillips. He graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science. He is employed by Charleston City Police Department and S.C. National Guard.

Pastor Steve Lindenmeyer officiated at the ceremony.

Music was provided by Jon Lowder, musician; Timothy Buttram, violinist; and LeeAnne Amick, vocalist.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Batey Self served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were LeeAnne Amick, Joy Colby, Mary Grace Dolan, Ellie Dreyer, Aiden Lillie, Bonnie McCrary, Katie Muehleisen, Anna Crew Psomas, Daisy Rhoad, Katrina Salzer and Anne-Davis Shaw.

Daniel Dolan served as best man. Groomsmen were Marshall Bingham, Brett Burnett, Sam Colt, Andrew Gentuso, Zachary Harrison, Riley Lanier, Davis Murdock, Carter Pitts, John Psomas, Jacob Seloff and Spencer Willis. Ring bearers were Matthew Dolan and Elias Dolan.

Following a wedding trip to The Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Charleston.
