Senate committee members should reflect on their own behavior

Posted

The "swamp" in Washington is getting deeper by the day. I have been watching the Kavanaugh hearings with utter disgust. Christine Ford has been treated with kid's gloves, while Brett Kavanaugh has been pummeled as if punched by a professional boxer.

By the way, Dr. Ford is not a licensed psychologist and should not be referred to as doctor. The Senate panel jumped on Judge Kavanaugh like pit bulls on fresh meat. I would get emotional, too, if I were being attacked as he has been. He has a right to defend his family and his good name. What has happened to "innocent until proven guilty"?

Dr. Ford does not remember where or when the party took place, who was at the party or how she got home. Where did she get alcohol at 15 years old? Were her parents not concerned to wait for her to return home? I never went to sleep until I heard the click of the door lock when my children came home.

I am amazed that our "brilliant senators" are going back to a high school yearbook for quotes. If you go to my high school yearbook, my goal was to do everything to a limit, and nothing has a limit. You could infer from it that I was a young lady with low morals. However, I was referring to academic achievement.

Why don't the Senate committee members look at their own behavior? Ted Kennedy drove off a bridge while drinking and killed his lady passenger. Bill Clinton had an affair with Monica Lewinsky in the White House and has recently been accused of rape by Juanita Broaddrick. How about the deviousness of Dianne Feinstein holding the Ford letter since July. Hilary used a private family server to conduct official state department business.

Anyone can see Dr. Ford is lying. Her polygraph consisted of two questions, yet Kavanaugh has had seven FBI investigations. No one to date has confirmed her story.
