SHEILA R. WILSON

Sheila R. Wilson, 59, was born on Sept. 6, 1959, in Lee County, a daughter of the late Rudolph and Flossie "Lou" Walker Mack. She departed this earthly life on Sept. 16, 2018, in Dalzell.

She attended the public schools of Lee County and was a graduate of Dennis High School Class of 1977. At an early age, she joined Mt. Olive AME Church. She was a skillful seamstress and was formerly employed with several local sewing plants. To know Sheila was to love her.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories: a loving and devoted grandmother, Ollie Mae Pearson of Woodrow; a son, Laquan M. Wilson of Woodrow; stepmother, Gita Mack of North Carolina; three brothers, Rahul Mack and Mukesh Mack, both of North Carolina, and Richard Butler of New York City, New York; one adopted sister, Patricia Lovely of Bishopville; her companion, Alex Rufus of Woodrow; a lifelong best friend, Lottie Jean Davis of Spring Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home of her cousin, Catherine Brunson, 347 Woodrow Road, Sumter.

Homegoing services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday at the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. Friendly J. Gadson officiating, eulogist.

The funeral procession will leave at 3:30 p.m. from the home.

Burial will be at Cooks Field Cemetery, J D Herriott Road, Dalzell.
