Born on Feb. 22, 1969, in Sumter, she was a daughter of L. Marshall Black Sr. and Betty Jean Hudson Black. She was a bank teller and a member of Jordan United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Madison Paige Whitmill Galicia (Kim) of California; her son, Zachary Dane Brown of Sumter; her parents of Manning; a sister, Traci Black Badura (Blayne) of Deltona, Florida; a brother, Marty Black (Emmaleigh) of Sumter; special friend, Frank Bobbino; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home, 515 Miller Road, Sumter, with the Rev. Kem Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Assembly of God Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Craig Varn, Leroy Lynch, Duane Lashley, Darrell Lashley, Hudson Collins and Al Benenhaley.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Stephens Funeral Home, 304 N. Church St., Manning.
