COLUMBIA - Solomon "Boot" Cantey Jr., 63, died on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018.
He was a son of Odessa Thames Cantey and the late Solomon Cantey Sr.
Funeral services for Mr. Cantey will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel 114 N. Church St., Manning, with the Rev. Major Lloyd officiating and the Rev. Lucreitta Pugh and Minister Jermiah Blanding assisting. Burial will follow at Faith Center Cemetery, Paxville.
The family is receiving friends at the home of his niece and her husband, April and Cory Pugh, 2881 Fawn Ridge Road, Manning.
These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC, Manning.
