Sons of the American Revolution inducts new members at ceremony in Sumter

The Colonel Matthew Singleton Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution recently inducted five new members at a ceremony in Sumter. From left are, front row - Chapter President Frank Brown, William A. Loney, Julius Duke and Chapter Registrar John Summerford; back row, David King, Carlton Loney and William E. Loney. All SAR members have formally traced their lineage back to a blood relative who supported the Patriot cause during the American Revolutionary War.
