Sumter BI-LO to host Military Appreciation Month

The Sumter BI-LO, 2055 Wedgefield Road, is saluting military personnel with a special discount and celebration according to a news release.
For the entire month, the Sumter BI-LO will offer active duty and veteran service members a 10 percent discount off total purchases.

To kick off the celebration, BI-LO will host a Military Appreciation Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, free to all active duty and veteran service members.

The 10-percent discount is valid only at the Wedgefield Road location from Sept. 1-30. Discount excludes: alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, money orders, postage stamps, pharmacy prescriptions, fees, FTD, charitable donations, Western Union, shipping, utility payments, fuel, service departments, vending machine, bottle deposits/refunds, tax, event tickets, prepaid products or lottery purchases.

A valid military ID, veteran ID, discharge document or driver’s license with a veteran designation must be presented to redeem the discount.
