Sumter coroner seeks help in contacting family of deceased man

Sumter County Coroner Robert Baker Jr. is asking for help locating the family of Joe Earl Goggans, who died in Sumter on Wednesday, Sept. 19. According to a release from Baker's office, Goggans is thought to be from the Newberry area. His birth date is Aug. 11, 1942.
