On Aug. 31, the Junior American Citizens, headmaster and the JAC lead teacher, all from Thomas Sumter Academy, along with Children of the American Revolution and Daughters of the American Revolution, met with Mayor Joe McElveen as he signed the Proclamation for Constitution Week, Sept. 17-23.
