Sumter Police Week Prayer Breakfast set for Tuesday

The 2018 Police Week Prayer Breakfast, hosted by Sumter County Sheriff's Office and Sumter Police Department, will be held at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at Church of the Holy Comforter, 213 N. Main St.

Community members are encouraged to attend the breakfast to commemorate those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the local jurisdiction and to offer support to their family members.

This year's guest speaker will be Sen. Kevin Johnson, D-Manning.

Tickets are $12 per person.
