Sumter School Board's Finance Committee meets Wednesday

The advisory Finance Committee of Sumter School District's Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. at the district office, 1345 Wilson Hall Road.
A district spokeswoman distributed a meeting agenda on Monday morning.
The committee will review the district's monthly financial statements for May at the meeting and the proposed fiscal year 2019 general fund budget, according to the agenda.
The school board is scheduled to have third and final reading and adoption of its $131.8 million budget on Thursday at 6 p.m. That meeting will also be held at the district office.
