Sumter Today: We learn how to help prevent package theft during the holidays

Mail and package deliveries always increase during the holiday season, but the season of giving also means more opportunities for thieves to swipe packages meant for loved ones from front porches and mailboxes. We caught up with the Sumter Police Department while they filmed a PSA to learn about ways we can all help prevent package thefts to make sure gifts end up under the tree instead of in the hands of packages pirates.
