For this episode of Sumter Today, we tagged along with a new nonprofit called Daughters of Angels as they gave care packages to Santee Hematology and Oncology, the chemo center their mothers went to while they bravely fought cancer. To honor their mother's memories, to help one another grieve and to give back to others, we learned about what they're doing and how it's helping.
Also, stay tuned at the end to see why State Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman visited Mayewood High School today.
Presented by Sumter Opera House, University of South Carolina Sumter and Colonial Healthcare.
