2 Sumter school board committees to meet Monday

Monday will be a busy day for the Sumter school board with a pair of committee meetings at the district office.

A district spokesperson made the agendas available for the public and media on Friday afternoon.

The board's Finance Committee will meet at noon with Interim Superintendent Debbie Hamm and district Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Miller. The committee will review monthly financial reports with administration. Miller and Hamm will also give a fiscal emergency declaration update, according to the agenda.

At 6 p.m., the board's Policy Committee will meet.

Like all board-related meetings, both committee meetings are open to the public. The district office is at 1345 Wilson Hall Road.

The full board's next regularly scheduled meeting is Monday, June 10, also at the district office.
