“Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to give the Manning Police Department a call at (803) 435-8859,” said Manning Police Chief Keith Grice. “The callers may remain anonymous.”

Grice called the shooting an “isolated incident.”

Three men have been arrested in connection with the shooting.

Markel Antonio Dennis, 23, Tyler S. McBride, 20, and Demadrae Isaiah Dennis, 19, are in custody with each man charged with one count of accessory after the fact of murder.

“This is an ongoing investigation,” Grice said.

According to Grice, the shooting occurred about 12:20 p.m. Aug. 26 on Dickson Street. Stukes was transported to McLeod Health Clarendon, where he was pronounced deceased.

Clarendon County Coroner Bucky Mock said an autopsy on Stukes will be performed on Saturday at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Mock said more details on Stukes’ death would be provided following the results of the autopsy.
