The final weekend day for in-person absentee voting at the Sumter County Voter Registration/Elections Office is Saturday, June 6. The office, located at 141 N. Main St. in the old courthouse, will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registered voters can also vote absentee in person today, Friday and Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Unlike traditionally, because of COVID-19, any registered voter can cast an absentee ballot by requesting "State of Emergency" as his or her reason.
