TURBEVILLE — Adrian "Chilli" Leshawn Cooper, 22, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, as a result of a car accident.

He was born Jan. 30, 1991, in Manning, a son of Allen and Mary Ann McKenzie Cooper. He received his formal education in the public schools of Clarendon School District 3. He attended Mercy and Kindness Holiness Church and other churches in the area.

Survivors are his mother, Mary Ann Cooper of the home; his father, Allen (Sylvia) Cooper of Turbeville; a grandmother, Shirley Cooper of Turbeville; three sisters, Anna, Allison and Melinda Cooper, all of Turbeville; four brothers, Travis Cooper, Allen (Keshonda) Cooper, Richard Cooper and Alex Cooper, all of Turbeville; six aunts; and four uncles.

Celebratory services for Mr. Cooper will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Howard Chapel AME Church, 6338 Old Manning Road, New Zion, with the Rev. Oliver Davis, pastor, presiding, the Rev. Lucious Wheeler, eulogist, and the Rev. Jerome McCray assisting. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

Mr. Cooper will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Allen L. and Keshonda Cooper, 1019 Sloane St., Lot 45, Turbeville.
