MAYESVILLE - Agnes M. Baker, 89, widow of Perry D. Baker, died on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia.

Born in White Plains, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Kirt Munn Mills and Myrtle Bell Holcomb Brown. She was also the stepdaughter of the late Marion Brown. Mrs. Baker was a member of Bethesda Church of God. She was retired from Becton-Dickinson.

Surviving are a son, James Daniel Boykin Jr. (Wanda) of Gable; three daughters, Wanda Gail Boykin Rogers of Sumter, and Tammy Marie Roberts and Kathryn Dianne Boykin, both of Lexington; a stepdaughter, Pam Baker Moseley of Ashwood; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Daniel Boykin Sr.; and her son, Michael D. Boykin.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Al Sims officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
