ALFREDA BARROWS
LUMBERTON, N.J. - Funeral services for Mrs. Alfreda Barrows will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1275 Oswego Hwy Sumter, SC, with the Rev. Daniel Bennett, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Alfreda Barrows was born April 25, 1931, in Sumter to the late Jessie and Thelma Smith Wynn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jo Ann Barrows.
On Monday, January 28, 2019, the soul of our beloved mother and grandmother was called home by our Heavenly Father.
Alfreda leaves to cherish her loving memory, to grieve her passing and to celebrate her homegoing her children: Donald (Edna) Barrows and Sandra Barrows; seven grandchildren, Cassandra Brunson, Tamika Barrows, Daquan Vann, Antoinette Francois, Malik Barrows, Jalil Barrows and Dawan Barrows; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Herbert Hoover (Mabel) Mack; and a host of other relatives and friends.
