ALMA JONES BAKER

Alma Jones Baker, 100, widow of Charles Raymond Baker, died on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at NHC Healthcare-Sumter.

Born on March 15, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Marion W. and Alma Estelle Brunson Jones. She was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include four grandchildren, Doug Baker (Tonya), Brittany Korbach (James), Amanda Green (Brian) and Brian Fisher (Ashley); and seven great-grandchildren, Jordan, Elijah, Leah, Wilson, Savannah, Brian and Austin.

She was preceded in death by her three sons, Jimmy Baker, Myron Baker and Troy Baker; and a grandson, Bobby Joe Baker.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Eugene Mosier.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
