WAMPEE - Alma Uldine Collins Mullen, 90, formerly of Wampee, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020, in Sumter. She was the widow of David W. Mullen Sr.

Born on Oct. 6, 1929, in Horry County, she was a daughter of the late Luther Collins and Elizebeth Hardee Collins Jones and Roston I. Jones Sr. Mrs. Mullen was a member of First Baptist Church of Little River and attended Eastside Baptist Church of Sumter. She retired from Escod Electronics of North Myrtle Beach, Mr. Fireworks of Little River and the North Myrtle Beach Senior Center of Wampee. She loved to sew, making quilts to give to the senior center and the homeless shelter.

Survivors include four sons, David Jr. (Angel) of Little River, George (Tammy) of Sumter, Kenny (Julie) of DeBary, Florida, and Tim (Crystal) of Sumter; son-in-law, Donald "Buckie" Morgan; one brother, Roston "Johnny" Jones of Wampee; two sisters, Betty Jo Jones of Wampee and Lee Ann Cantu of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren, Tiffanie Morgan (Mercedes), Donnie Morgan (Mandy), David Mullen III (Julie), Kyndal Moore (Chris), Will Mullen (Avery), Jake Mullen and TJ Mullen (Heather); seven step-grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan, Lom, La, JayJay, Lynette and Oneal; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mullen was predeceased by one daughter, Sallie Elizabeth Morgan; one son, Scottie Lee Mullen; two brothers, W.H. and Ernest Collins; and one sister, Mary Orilla Todd.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Stan Fields and the Rev. Chris Moore will officiate.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Mullen's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
