Angela Grace Murdaugh, 53, of Hewitt Street in Summerville, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital.

Mrs. Murdaugh was born on Oct. 23, 1967, in Manning, a daughter of the late Patsy Richburg Eaddy. She attended Christian Academy in Manning and graduated from Clarendon Hall Academy in Summerton. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Finance from Winthrop College and an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Trident Technical College. After completing college, she worked as an accountant at Carolina Youth Development Center in Charleston and then as a registered nurse at Trident Medical Center in Charleston and Summerville Medical Center in Summerville. She was a member of Givhan's Baptist Church in Ridgeville.

Angela was a devoted wife, mother and daughter. She loved her husband and sons, second only to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Always ready to help others, she enjoyed being with family, doting over her pets, Ollie and Dude, caring for those in need, baking with Frank, traveling, going to lunch with friends, meticulously planning everything, making her house a home and reading her Bible.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Franklin L. Murdaugh Jr.; two sons, John Franklin Murdaugh and Gilbert Allen Murdaugh; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Franklin and Queenie Murdaugh of Hampton; sister-in-law, Tamra Murdaugh Bishop (Randy) of Brunson; brother-in-law, Neal R. Murdaugh (Shellie) of Early Branch; nieces, Carrie Bess Benton (Robbie) of Ulmer and Leanora Bishop of Brunson; and great-nephew, Oran Benton.

The family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to the nurses, doctors and staff at Roper Berkeley Hospital for their kindness and love.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Sand Hill Cemetery near Varnville conducted by the Rev. R.P. Hodge and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

Visitation will be immediately following the service at the cemetery.
