ANNE M. HIGDON

DALZELL -- Anne M. Higdon, 61, wife of Alfred G. Higdon Jr., died Friday, July 13, 2007, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late James A. Mattson and the late Elsie Hilton Mattson. Mrs. Higdon was of the Roman Catholic faith and was a graduate of Palmer College.

Surviving are her husband of Dalzell and a sister, Jean Louise Mattson of Concord, N.C.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Evergreen Memorial Park with Father Thomas Burke, C.Ss.R., officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home, 4905 Ridge St., Dalzell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SPCA, 1140 S. Guignard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.
