Back to School: Holy Angels Academy

Holy Angels Academy (formerly known as St. Anne & St. Jude Catholic School), 11 S. Magnolia St., Sumter, is now a 4K through sixth-grade school. Our small learning community sizes and dedicated faculty and staff provide a firm academic and Christian foundation for all our students. Our 4K program is an official 4K First Steps program.

Last school year we were blessed to have in-person, socially distanced classes for the entire year. Our goal is to provide the same socially responsible environment this school year.

Orientation is in person, Thursday, Aug. 12, at 6 p.m. in the St. Anne & St. Jude Parish Hall, 11 S. Magnolia St.

Monday, Aug. 16, is the first day of school. All classes are in person. Our doors open at 6:50 a.m. School begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m. for all grades. We offer after-school care until 5:30 p.m. for a nominal charge. We also offer Extended Academics for students who need additional time with a teacher. Dropoff and pickup will be in our flag circle facing Magnolia Street.

Our uniforms have been simplified and help to create a team-like atmosphere. We also sell used uniforms to help offset the cost.
