Bates Middle School and Alice Drive Middle School will play for the Sumter Middle School Conference boys basketball tournament championship on Saturday after picking up semifinal wins on Thursday.
Bates defeated Chestnut Oaks 57-33, while Alice Drive beat Manning 59-45.
The championship game will be played at Sumter High School beginning at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Bates improved to 17-0 on the season with its win. Caleb Jenkins led the way with 20 points. Zyeir Gamble had 15 and Terrian Nelson had 13.
Alice Drive improved to 14-2 in reaching its fifth straight conference tournament championship game. Brandon Oliver led the Hawks with 16 points. Marquis Lane-Owens had 15, Quantez Jenkins had 12, and Keon Jett added 10.

COLUMBIA - Sumter High School lost to Spring Valley 70-57 on Tuesday at the SV gymnasium.
Cody McCoy led the Gamecocks with 20 points. Omar Croskey added 14 and Tylee Craft had 10.
Lee Central 67
Buford 46
BISHOPVILLE - The Lee Central high School varsity boys basketball team improved to 10-1 in Region IV-2A with a 67-46 win over Buford on Tuesday at the LCHS gymnasium.
Javonte McCloud led the Stallions, who improved to 17-4 on the season, with 17 points. Lebron Thomas had 16, and DaVeon Thomas added 15.
Bethune-Bowman 71
Scott's Branch 70
SUMMERTON - Scott's Branch High School fell to 5-2 in Region V-1A with a 71-70 loss to Bethune-Bowman on Tuesday at the SB gymnasium.
Deashon Dingle led the 11-10 Eagles with 24 points and five steals. Joakeem Stevens had 14 points, while Brandon noble scored 12. Sean Swaringer had a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.
On Friday in Branchville, Scott's Branch defeated Branchville 53-46.
Dingle and Swaringer had 13 points apiece, while Stevens had 12 points and eight rebounds.
B TEAM BASKETBALL

CAMDEN - Laurence Manning Academy defeated Camden Military 32-24 on Thursday at the CM gymnasium.
Noah Tanner led LMA with 15 points, while Thomas Sumpter had 10.
JV BASKETBALL
Lee Central 43
Buford 22
BISHOPVILLE - Lee Central High School improved to 10-5 with a 43-22 victory over Buford on Tuesday at the LCHS gymnasium.
Derrick Bradley and Javontae Price led the Stallions with eight points. Omari Martin added six points while grabbing 10 rebounds and coming up with five steals.

Wilson Hall improved 11-5 to with a 29-26 win over Florence Christian School on Tuesday at Nash Student Center.
Kaleb Porter led the Barons with 14 points.
