Barton-Davis

Jordan Taylor Barton and Michael George Davis, both of Sumter, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, at The O'Donnell House in Sumter.

The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Stacy Barton of Sumter and the granddaughter of Johnny and Rhonda Withrow, Gordon and Joyce Barton, and Ricky Banks, all of Ellijay, Georgia. She graduated from the University of South Carolina. She is employed by The Sumter Item.

The bridegroom is the son of Skip and Maryanne Davis of Summerton and the grandson of Townsend and Betty Warren of McClellanville, and the late Morrison and Jodie Davis and the late Arthur Broadway, all of Summerton. He graduated from the University of South Carolina. He is employed by USC.

Claudia Davis, sister of the bridegroom, officiated at the ceremony.

Music was provided by Mitchell Champagne, vocalist and acoustic guitarist; and AshLee Holloman, vocalist.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a flowing tulle ballgown with detailed appliques, a low back and a soft tiered skirt with a sweep train. She carried a bouquet of Italian ruscus, eucalyptus and Mojito roses.

AshLee Holloman and Madelyn Barton served as maids of honor. Attendants were Rylee Barton and Amanda Redfoot.

The bridegroom's father served as best man. Attendants were Bevin Davis and Brandon King.

The reception was held in the ballroom of The O'Donnell House.

The rehearsal party was given by the bridegroom's parents at Bar-B-Que Hut in Sumter.

The couple resides in Sumter.
