Benjamin Tillman "Bo" Barwick Sr., 94, widower of Dorothy Atkinson Barwick, died on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Agape Hospice House in Lexington.

Born on April 23, 1926, in Pinewood, he was a son of the late Benjamin Tillman and Leonora Broughton Barwick.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.  Mr. Barwick was a member of First Southern Methodist Church and was co-owner of Sumter Music and Amusements.

Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Bennie T. Barwick Jr. (Claudia) of Manning and the Rev. Kenneth W. Barwick (Betty Lee) of West Columbia; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Alan L. Barwick; and two sisters, Ernestine Yates and Kenneth "Sis" Strange.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery with the Rev. Bennie Barwick, the Rev. Kenneth Barwick and the Rev. Ellison Evans officiating.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that those in attendance wear masks and practice social distancing.

The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside and other times at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Bennie Barwick, 1150 Savage Road, Manning.
