"I'm thrilled to be involved with the CCTC Foundation as they celebrate nine years hosting this excellent tournament," Berry said in a news release. "It's one of the best golf events in the area, and all of the proceeds stay local to benefit CCTC students."
The CCTC Foundation Golf Tournament will benefit foundation programs and projects supporting CCTC, including scholarships, professional development for faculty and staff and funding for equipment and facilities.
"There is not a more genuine, deserving group for scholarships than the people in our area who are making every effort to raise our standard of living," said Berry in the release.
The CCTC Foundation has been awarding more than more than $2.5 million in scholarships to more than 3,500 students with the help of charitable donations.
The tournament registration fee is $75 per player and $300 per team of four.
Registration is due by Sept. 20 and includes golf, lunch and an awards celebration. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
