WEDGEFIELD - Betty McGriff Boulay, 85, wife of Daniel Achille Boulay, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at her home.

Born on Jan. 13, 1934, in Dahlonega, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Tyler Henry George and Nancy Jane Hallman George.

Survivors include her husband; four children, Patricia McGriff Jolley (David Lee Sr.), Mary McGriff Williams, Eugene E. McGriff Jr. (Vivian) and Joann McGriff Goins; two stepchildren, Patricia Boulay Nichols (Jeffrey) and Daniel Allen Boulay (Maricela); grandchildren, Brooke Jolley Thompson (Joey), David Lee Jolley Jr. (Nicole), Anthony Michael Williams, Christina Williams, Carry Christine McGriff, Daniel Eugene McGriff (Melissa), Dustin Thomas McGriff (Laura), Eric Nathan Castro and Leah Castro DeBerry; step-grandchildren, Marshall Nichols, Jonathan Nichols, Daniel Alexander Boulay, Andrew Noodt and Frankie Noodt; 11 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Earl McGriff Sr.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery with the Rev. Steve Miller and the Rev. David Richardson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Daniel McGriff, Dustin McGriff, Eric Castro, Christina Williams, David Jolley Sr., Robert Castro, Leah DeBerry and Carry McGriff.

The family will receive friends at the home, 5790 Wedgefield Road.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
