Betty Moore Fralick, 78, wife of Irvin Fralick Jr., died on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born June 23, 1941, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Baxter Platt Moore Sr. and Merlene Kirby Moore. Mrs. Fralick was a member of First Baptist Church, Sumter. She was a lifelong, respected and much sought-after floral designer. She was a loving wife to her husband and mother to her two boys. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as she took great pride in taking care of her family.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years; two sons, Morgan Fralick of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Jeff Fralick Sr. (Kim) of Sumter; four grandchildren, David Fralick, Bethany Fralick, Mary Beth Skey (Sean) and Jeffrey Fralick Jr (Jessica); and three great-grandchildren, Marsha Kate Skey, Anne Beatson Skey and Mary Ellis Fralick.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Platt Moore Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Bob Calvert officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Fralick Jr., David Fralick, Sean Skey, Platt Moore III, Al Hubbard, Bobby Beatson Jr. and Ronnie Beatson.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jeff and Kim Fralick, 2266 Garrison St.
