BRENDA A. ROSS

Brenda A. Ross was born on Nov. 14, 1961, in Sumter, a daughter of the late Thomas Pringle and Ella Nora Ford. She departed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021. Brenda was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. She was a woman of few words and had a loving and giving heart. She loved fishing, listening to her old records and cooking. She also had a passion for being a tax preparer and lots of love for her family and friends. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memories: her sisters, Rochelle (Don) Smalls of West Columbia, Toninet (John) Williams of Wichita Falls, Texas, Carolyn Wells, Sylvia Tisdale, Jacqueline Frierson Byrd of Sumter, Angie Frierson of Lakeland, Florida, Cynthia (Andre) Dyson, Edith Maybell, Agnes Frierson and Carolyn Vaughn of Sumter; loving brothers, Mark Ross, Ronald Davis, Bob Pringle of Sumter and James Frierson of Lawton, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to acknowledge Lavenia Felder and Debra Richardson for showing love and compassion during her time of need.

In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home, 16 Logan St., Sumter.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Bradford Cemetery with Bishop Dr. Eddie Brown officiating, eulogist.

The procession will leave from the home at 12:20 p.m.
