BRIAN JAMES ANDERSON

Brian James Anderson, 50, husband of Christina Grooms Anderson, died on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet.

Born on April 21, 1970, in Sumter, he was a son of Jimmie Anne Owens Anderson and the late Francis Henry Anderson III. He was a member of Sumter First Church of God and was employed as a data analyst at the University of South Carolina.

Survivors include his wife; his mother; children, Bethany Knight, Megan Anderson, Amber Anderson (Trey), Zane Anderson, Blayne Anderson, Mason Eaddy and Tyler Eaddy; a brother, Mark Anderson of Swansea; a sister, Stacy Veldman (David) of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sumter First Church of God with the Rev. Ron Bower officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 472 Cedarwood Drive, Sumter.
