LAKE CITY - Jessica Hope Briggs of Sumter and Anthony Michael Macchio of Florence were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at The Bean Market.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Norma Briggs of Sumter. She graduated from Sumter High School and Francis Marion University. She is employed by McLeod Health in Florence.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Macchio of Florence. He graduated from West Florence High School. He is employed by Capstone Logistics in Florence and is a member of the United States Army Reserves.

The Rev. Tommy Bolger officiated at the ceremony.

Music was provided by Mr. Spenser Hooks.

Escorted by her mother, the bride wore a formal white lace gown with asymmetrical draping, beaded lace appliques on the bodice and a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of mixed silk purple and lavender flowers with eucalyptus.

Ms. Lauren Fowler served as maid of honor.

Mrs. Cathy Fortier and Ms. Madison Mabry served as bridesmaids. Isabella Wiseman served as flower girl.

Mr. Tyler Fortier served as best man. Mr. Zach Jordan and Mr. Jonathan LaCross served as groomsmen.

The bride's mother held the reception at The Bean Market.

The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at their home in Florence.

Following a wedding trip to Disney World in Florida, the couple resides in Florence.
