Sumter High School’s varsity girls basketball team improved to 14-3 overall and 2-0 in region play with a 60-32 road victory over Blythewood on Tuesday.

Sumter High School’s varsity girls basketball team improved to 14-3 overall and 2-0 in region play with a 60-32 road victory over Blythewood on Tuesday.

Senior guard Tamerah Brown led the Lady Gamecocks with 18 points, and eighth-grader Kiara Croskey added 14.

Sumter led 25-14 at halftime, and outscored Blythewood 35-19 in the second half.

Up next for Sumter, they’ll visit Spring Valley on Friday (Jan. 24).
