BURNETT DAVIS

Burnett Davis departed this life on Monday, July 19, 2021, at her residence.

She was born on May 9, 1954, in Clarendon County, a daughter of the late Eddie and Corrine Richburg Davis. She was a 1973 graduate of Mayewood High School.

She was married to the late Williams Dukes Jr. This union was blessed with three children, Tonya (Warren), LaShawnda and William A. Dukes. She later married John Wilson.

Other survivors include three grandchildren, MeShonne, Darius and Zadrain; two brothers, Robert (Elizabeth) Davis and Lee (Anne) Davis; four sisters, Malvenia Perry, Frances (the Rev. Donald) Amis, Louise Simon and Bertha Wilson; one aunt, Edith Reed; and a host of other relatives.

Private memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday at 1495 Salterstown Road, Sumter.
