CALLIOPE MARINA GIAMBANCO

Calliope Marina Giambanco, 2, died on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia.

Born on Aug. 21, 2020, in Sumter, she was a daughter of Amanda and Penelope Quicanopalacios Giambanco.

Survivors in addition to her parents of Sumter include her sister, Eva of the home; brother, Benito of the home; a stepbrother, Renzo Quicanopalacios; grandparents, Giuseppe Giambanco and Donna Giambanco, both of Pennsylvania, and Maureen Palacios of New Jersey; and a number of other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Michael and Gladys Horun, and Girolamo and Rosaria Giambanco; and an uncle, Adam Giambanco.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Father William Frei, followed by an evening vigil time at the home of her parents.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
