Lander University

Lander University announces the names of undergraduate students who are recognized with the honor of making the President's List, during the first semester of the 2018-19 school year. To qualify for the President's List, a student must earn a GPA of 4.0 over the course of the semester. The following area students were named to the list:

- Bishopville - Joel Seymour;

- Turbeville - Hanna Welch; and

- Sumter - McKenzie Michelson.

Lander University announces the names of undergraduate students who are recognized with the honor of making the Dean's List, during the first semester of the 2018-19 school year.

To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a GPA between 3.5 and 3.9 over the course of the semester. The following area students were named to the list:

- Manning - Janette Murdoch;

- Bishopville - Madison Copeland; and

- Sumter - Jessica Harris, Chynna Mcbride, Deiondra Mickel, Kayla Tindal and Shantea Washington; and

- Mayesville - Diamonte Commander.

Charleston Southern University

CHARLESTON - Charleston Southern University has named the following area students to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester:

- Gable - Sara Knight Nalley;

- Sumter - Hunter Layne Hair; Shawna Marie Ragan; Megan Kelley Taylor; Lauren Ashleigh Cain of Sumter; April Darlene Overby; Corey Douglas Gant; Tiffany Elizabeth Daniels; and Christopher Tanner Brunson; and

- Turbeville - Jesse Renee Beasley.

Students named to the Dean's List earned a 3.5 GPA or better and earned 12 or more credit hours for the semester.
