TROY, Alabama - Troy University is proud to announce students who have been named to the Chancellor's List for the summer semester and Term 5 of the 2020-21 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade-point average of 4.0 qualify for the Chancellor's List. The summer semester includes students at the Troy, Alabama, campus. Term 5 includes students at Troy's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Alabama, along with locations outside of Alabama and online. Local students who made the list are:

- Charles Gumbs of Sumter; and

- Sade Johnson of Alcolu.

PALMER COLLEGE OF CHIROPRACTIC

PORT ORANGE, Florida -Kionna Greene of Sumter has been named to the 2021 spring quarter Dean's List at Palmer College of Chiropractic's Florida campus in Port Orange, Florida.

Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first and largest college in the chiropractic profession, has campuses in Davenport, Iowa; San Jose, California; and Port Orange, Florida.

WEST POINT

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The U.S. Military Academy announced the names of the cadets from the Class of 2022 selected to lead the Corps of Cadets during the academic year. These cadets will assume their leadership duties on Aug. 15 prior to the start of the fall academic session at the academy.

"They are leaders of character who have planned, coordinated and led a rigorous and effective summer training cycle for the Corps of Cadets. It is abundantly clear that these leaders embody the values of duty, honor and country and have committed themselves to serving a higher cause," said Commandant of Cadets, Brig. Gen. Mark Quander.

Zachary Bolen of Shaw Air Force Base was chosen for Brigade S-6 (Communications).
