NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY

BOSTON - Northeastern University is pleased to recognize those students who distinguish themselves academically during the course of the school year. Sumter resident Olivia Hilferty was recently named to the Dean's List for the spring semester, which ended in May 2021.

To achieve the Dean's List distinction, students must carry a full program of at least four courses, have a grade-point average of 3.5 or greater out of a possible 4.0 and carry no single grade lower than a C- during the course of their college career. Each student receives a letter of commendation and congratulation from their college dean.

COASTAL CAROLINA UNIVERSITY

SPARTANBURG - The following local students were named to the Dean's List for spring 2021 semester at Wofford College. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled for at least 12 semester hours of graded courses and attain a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher.

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA BEAUFORT

BLUFFTON- The following local students earned degrees as part of the University of South Carolina Beaufort's Spring 2021 Graduating Class:

- Sumter - Andrea McBride earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Services; and
