CAROL JEAN M. SEECH

Carol Jean Massey Seech, age 76, beloved wife of the late John Richard Seech, died on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

Born in Kinston, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Bettie Stallings Massey. Mrs. Seech was the owner / operator of several Curtis Mathes stores in Sumter, Columbia and Orangeburg.

Surviving are two children, Patrick A. Seech of Sumter and Susan Seech Colanduno of Atlanta; one grandson, Zane S. Seech of Sumter; two brothers, Levi Massey and Jerry Massey; and four sisters, Diane Andrews, Peggy Price, Frances Turnage and Sandra Jones, all of North Carolina.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Noble.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Bullock Funeral Home.
