CAROLYN ELLEBY PRIOLEAU
Carolyn Elleby Prioleau was born on Oct. 2, 1964, in Sumter, to the late Abraham II and Carrie Mae Singleton Prioleau.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham II and Carrie Mae Singleton Prioleau.
Carolyn made her transition on Saturday, April 13, 2019, from labor to reward in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Timothy Elleby II and Abram Prioleau Elleby; her former husband, Tim Elleby Sr.; two brothers, Abraham (Diana) Prioleau III and Herman (Leila) Sanders Prioleau; sister, Marilyn Prioleau Campbell; nieces and nephews, Marlo L. Prioleau, Brandon D. Wheeler, Hermanda S. Prioleau and Syndney L. Prioleau; greatnieces and nephews, Cameron J. Wheeler, Lauren L. Prioleau, Carter B. Grizzle and Aiden J. Davall; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 3400 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, with the Rev. Dr. Clifford Jones, pastor.
Her remains will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.
