CAROLYN HORACE HOWARD

Carolyn Horace Howard, 68, widow of Frank James Howard Jr. and daughter of the late Johnny Alston and Viola Dunham Calvin, was born on Aug. 5, 1957, in Palm Beach, Florida.  She departed this life on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, in Sumter.
Public viewing will be held on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, from 2-6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at Bethesda Church of God, 2730 Broad St., Sumter, with Minister James Brooks officiating and the Rev. Sarah Johnson, eulogist.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia.
Family will receive friends at the home of her son, 886 Trailmore Circle, Sumter.
