CAROLYN LOUISE M. OBERTACZ

MANNING - Carolyn Louise Musch Obertacz, 83, wife of Teddy Jozef Obertacz, died on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020, at McLeod Hospice House.

Born on Dec. 10, 1936, in Toledo, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Melvin Paul Musch and Lena Marohn Musch. She was of the Lutheran faith.

She is survived by her husband of Manning; two daughters, Cheryl Lynn Gillispie (Harold) of Hartsville and Julia Ann DeBruin (R. Scott) of Enosburg Falls, Vermont; four grandchildren, Emily DeBruin, McKenzie DeBruin, Justin Gillispie (Angela) and Caitlin Locke (Patrick); four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dolores Friar of Bradenton, Florida.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery in Sumter with the Rev. Patrick G. Goodwin officiating.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, the family is not receiving friends at the residence.
