CARRIE BELL HOLMES ROBINSON
Carrie Bell Holmes Robinson, 89, was born on Oct. 27, 1930, in Lee County, a daughter of Deacon Henry Holmes Sr. and Beulah Hickmon Holmes. She departed this earthly life on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, at National Healthcare Center in Sumter.
She was educated in the public schools of Lee County. Mrs. Robinson was employed by Sumter School District for many years and was a great homemaker. Mrs. Robinson was a lifelong member of Barnettsville Baptist Church, where she was a member of the usher board and choir.
Precious memories of Carrie Bell Robinson will continue to be cherished by her family: two sons, Leroy Holmes and James Robinson Jr. of Sumter; one daughter, Cathy Robinson of the home; one sister, Betty Bradley of Bishopville; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family is requesting no visitation.
Celebration of triumph and victory services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Barnettsville Baptist Church, 106 Manville-St Charles Road, Bishopville, with the Rev. Wayne Montgomery, pastor, officiating.
The procession will leave at 10:20 a.m. from the home.
