CARRIE L. EDWARDS ANDERSON

Carrie L. Edwards Anderson, wife of Eddie Anderson, was born on Aug. 31, 1948, in Dalzell. She was a daughter of the late James and Jessie Mae R. Edwards. She entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 24, 2019, at her home in Queens, New York. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and was a 1968 graduate of Ebenezer High School, Dalzell.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Eddie Anderson; a daughter, Zylphia Fox of Brooklyn, New York; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mamie (Shirley) Wilder, Betty (Sammie) Generette and Gracie Prince, all of Sumter; two brothers, Jesse J. (Nhin) Edwards and Roosevelt (Brenda) Edwards, both of Sumter; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation with friends will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2019, with funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence H. Woodward Funeral Home Inc.
