Cash reward offered for info on Sumter suspect wanted for drugs

A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a 23-year-old man who is wanted on drug and other charges.

Kendall Dow, of Lone Rogers Lane, is a black male who is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs about 155 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes, according to the Sumter Police Department.

Dow also faces charges of illegal carry of a firearm. He was reportedly at the Sunoco Hop In gas station on Broad Street on Sept. 9 when a shooting between rival gang members left two 30-year-old men dead and three injured.

He has warrants out on him with both the city police department and county sheriff’s office, according to Tonyia McGirt, public information officer for the city police.
