Catheleen White was born on Jan. 5, 1974, to the late Richard James and Queen Elizabeth Lyons. Her cousins, Priscillia Colclough and the late John Colclough Sr., raised her like their own after the passing of her late great-grandmother, Catherine Lyons. Catheleen departed this earthly life on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Florence.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her two children, Catherine Keyana McDonald and Kingston McDonald; her siblings, Martha Berry of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Andre and Sheraunda Wilson of Richmond, Virginia, Latoya Cooper, Jessica Frazier and Shawn Siegler of Sumter and John Colclough Jr. of Tuberville; her companion, Eric McDonald; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, the family requests face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends at all home visitation, 615 S. Lafayette Drive, Sumter, and at the home of Priscillia Colclough, 30 Burnie Circle, Sumter.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter, with the Rev. Joseph Ricks officiating.

The procession will leave at 1:20 p.m. from 615 S. Lafayette Drive, Sumter.

Burial will be at Bradford Cemetery, U.S. 15 South, Sumter.
