CCTC in Sumter invites students to learn about youth apprenticeships on Thursday

Students interested in learning about becoming a youth apprentice are invited to attend Central Carolina Technical College Student / Parent Information Night at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at CCTC's Advanced Manufacturing Technology Training Center, 853 Broad St.

Students will have the opportunity to speak with company representatives and learn more about becoming a youth apprentice. Possible occupations include: mechatronics (maintenance), machine tool technology, business/management, logistics, HVAC, environmental, health and safety, administrative office technology, accounting and certified nursing assistant. This year's employer sponsors include: BD, SKF, Santee-Wateree Mental Health, Hatfield Heating & Air, Carolina Filters and McLeod Health.
